Annual PAC Fundraiser   Print

PLEASE ATTEND THIS IMPORTANT EVENT!

Log Cabin Republican Club of Virginia's Annual PAC Fundraiser on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 will feature Republican pollster Tony Fabrizio

O
ur annual PAC fundraiser to benefit state and local Republican candidates who support an inclusive Republican Party will be held on Tuesday, May 24, from 6:30 until 9:00 pm at the Key Bridge Marriott, 1401 Lee Highway, Rosslyn, just off the Key Bridge.  The reception will be in the View Lounge at the top of the hotel, offering spectacular vistas of Washington, D.C.

We are pleased this year to have as our Guest of Honor Tony Fabrizio, the well-known Republican pollster.  Mr. Fabrizio was chief pollster for Sen. Bob Dole's 1996 presidential campaign and is a partner in the Virginia polling firm of Fabrizio, McLaughlin and Associates, serving major corporate and political clients.  Fabrizio is a frequent guest on CNN's "Inside Politics" and "Crossfire," and appears regularly on Fox, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, and ABC.  Drawing on his extensive experience in Republican politics and campaigns, he will offer keen insight into what the Republican Party must do in order to grow and maintain its majority status.

The purpose of this reception is to raise money for inclusive state and local Republican candidates in Virginia.  Since its inception four years ago, the Log Cabin Republican Club PAC has raised nearly $25,000 for such candidates.  This year, the entire 100-member House of Delegates is up for election, and our PAC will be actively supporting inclusive candidates from around the Commonwealth.  The success of this event is critically important to our continued growth and influence within the Republican Party of Virginia.  We urge all our members, supporters, and friends to make attendance at this reception a top priority.

Donations will be a minimum of $50, with three other levels of support: Bronze $100, Silver $250, and Gold $500 or more.  Donors at these latter three levels will be recognized at the reception and will receive two tickets to the reception.  Admission to the reception will include light fare and a cash bar.  Business attire is requested.  There are two ways to RSVP:

Noted author Chandler Burr has written a new white paper for the Liberty Education Fourm.  Burr's white paper clearly demonstrates that we already know the answer to this question--people don't choose their sexual orientation.  This has important political implications and it's a powerfull tool for achieving equality.

Quotable Quotes
Richmond Times-Dispatch

Barry Goldwater, speaking in 1981: "I'm frankly sick and tired of the political preachers across this country telling me as a citizen that, if I want to be a moral person, I must believe in A, B, C, or D . . . .I am even more angry as a legislator who must endure the threats of every religious group who thinks it has some God-granted right to control my vote on every roll call in the Senate."
