Arlington. On November 7, Virginians will vote on our economic future.
The ballot question is misleading. Some call it "the marriage amendment,"
others "the Marshall/Newman amendment." Either way, the proposal will
have no effect on marriage in Virginia, but could influence our economic
future for years to come.
